Redeemer Cares – A post COVID healthcare centre, are organising a blood donation drive, in collaboration with St Philomena’s Hospital on June 23. This drive will be organised at the organizations campus at St Alphonsus Academy Campus, Davis road Bengaluru. The drive will begin at 10:00 AM and will continue till 3:00 PM.
The organizers have requested each and every one to donate blood.
Here are some things to keep in mind regarding the eligibility to donate blood
• Donor should be aged between 18-65 years.
• Donor’s weight should be 55 kgs or above.
• Donor who has received vaccination within the last 28 days would not be able to donate
• Ensure you feel physically healthy and fit without any discomfort before donation.
Please do carry a copy of your Aadhar Card with you. Blood banks all around the city are facing a dire shortage of blood and your donation can truly help save someone in their most desperate hour.
