Niveus Solutions Ensures Full Vaccination

Date:

Udupi: Niveus Solutions, in partnership with Kasturba Hospital Manipal,
has successfully completed full vaccination of employees as well as their family and friends, against COVID 19, in Udupi, Karkala, and Mangaluru.

Niveus Solutions, a Google cloud premier & award-winning partner headquartered in Udupi, comprises around 300 employees across multiple locations. Niveus completed Phase 2 of vaccination drive with employees receiving their second dose of the vaccine at the KMC Marena Complexes in Manipal and Mangalore.

The drive began with the first dose being administered to employees in June earlier this year. Employees in other locations such as Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi were also simultaneously reimbursed for vaccinations done within their own cities.

Suyog Shetty, CEO at Niveus, said, “The vaccination drive has helped us to play our part in India’s battle against the immense challenge that the pandemic has presented. Keeping our Niveus family happy and healthy has always been a top priority for us. I believe this is not only a wellness activity for the organization, but also our obligation towards the larger ecosystem.”

Niveus has now vaccinated around 500 individuals against Corona virus, with 50% of employees covered through the company initiative and rest were reimbursed post them getting the shot. With this drive and through reimbursements, the company has now vaccinated nearly the entire
organization and a follow up drive or reimbursement is expected to be done in near future to ensure vaccination for the remaining few.

Dr Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent at Kasturba Hospital commented, “We, at Kasturba Hospital, are very glad to be a part of this initiative as this helps us in our goal to vaccinate the maximum number of people in the region.”

Meticulous planning was key to helping the company procure the appropriate number of vaccines, and thereby avoiding wastage. With more than 1,000 cases per day in Karnataka, the vaccination drive is a welcome endeavor for employees and families alike. The drive aims to effectively improve employee safety within the workplace and home in addition to following social distancing measures such as using sanitizers and wearing masks.
